MAC has just released their new Artificially Wild collection online to the public (8/27/2014) which is mixed with some permanent items along with some repromoted shades:

Siss Muted golden beige (Satin) (Permanent)

Yash Deep neutral (Matte) (Permanent)

Icon Frosted neutral beige (Frost) (Repromote; currently Discontinued)

Shitake Deep brown glaze (Glaze) (Repromote; currently Discontinued)

Photo Golden brown (Satin) (Permanent)

Swatches L to R: Siss, Yash, Icon, Shitaki, and Photo

Just a few quick observations:

Photo is a color that may not work for some (especially those that don’t love browns on their lips) but it’s my favorite of the colors. It is a Satin formula and is comfortable on the lips. It is the most opaque out of the colors in this collection.

Shitaki is a Glaze formula so it applies more like a semi-sheer colored lip balm. You can build the color up by layering it, but if it’s a color you love you may find yourself using it up more quickly than you normally would.

Icon is the only Frost formula in this collection but it doesn’t feel overly frosty in my opinion. It applies somewhat sheer on me but this is actually a good thing.

Yash is the only Matte from this collection. It applies smoothly and doesn’t feel as dry as some mattes can be.

Siss is a Satin Finish. On me it is too close to my skin tone (layering it on heavy makes it stand out more but look more yellow). I would recommend using a darker liner to add some depth to it if it initially seems too yellow or close to your natural skin tone. Otherwise, it applies well and does not feel drying.

Here are a few quick lip swatches with the lipsticks.
