Soon I’ll be posting my top products list(s) from 2013 as we get settled in to this new year and ready for new collections to be released. I’ll also compile a list of products that were duds for me in 2013. I’m curious about some of your favorite and least favorite items that you purchased in 2013 so please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions below in the comments!

Also, I’m open to suggestions for things that you all might be interested in seeing me do with the blog this year. As always, your feedback is wanted and greatly appreciated! It’s even better when you find an online retailer that offers a wide array of brands and products that span over beauty and fashion.

IMATS & The City: Quick Recap of IMATS NY 2013

This year a friend and I made the plunge to fly to NYC and attend IMATS NY 2013. It was a whirlwind trip that meant we had to cram a lot of stuff into a little time!

IMATS NY was located at Pier 94 (the famed Chelsea Piers) on April 6-7 with a ProCard Holders Only day on the 5th. As IMATS pre-warned, the tickets sold out a few weeks before the event. The event offered a vast amount of exhibitors that sold products and offered information about their services in addition to various keynote speakers and a student competition called “Battle of the Brushes”. Unlike some other MUA trade shows, IMATS is open to the public so no credentials are necessary to attend.

Quick News: Fresh From IMATS NY!!!

This was definitely a whirlwind weekend for me! I flew into NY early Friday morning with a friend for a weekend of exploration and IMATS fun! It was my first IMATS visit and boy did I have fun! I met some amazing people and saw some breathtaking Makeup Artistry in action. I came home exhausted with a few goodies that I can’t wait to play with and review! I’ll share a few videos and post a more in-depth review on my experience in the next few days, but for now this girl is TIRED!
