Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant in Completely Clean scent
One of the products I received in the Influenster Spring VoxBox was Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant in the Completely Clean scent. It touts 48 hr odor protection and has a tagline that says:
Show off your fearlessness without worrying about white marks!
It applies clear and remains that way so the idea is that you won’t run into the dreaded “white mark” issue that traditional solids can have. The deodorant is simple to apply. Just turn the dial at the bottom of the bottle and you will see gel rise from the numerous small holes at the top (but be careful! You can easily click too much product up! 2-3 clicks is enough). Simply apply like you would any other deodorant and you’re done!

The scent is pleasant although it’s likely not one I would choose for myself (I prefer soft scents so I tend to be that person in the deodorant aisle sniffing scents to find the perfect one lol). It isn’t overpowering nor is it flowery or the generic and overused “powder” scent. According to their website, this comes in 3 additional scent options: Protecting Powder, Sport Fresh, and Unscented. It is cooling when you apply it to the skin…a plus in this humid and hot summer weather indeed. It dries quickly so you don’t have to do any magical movements to wait for the wetness to disappear. I have been testing this daily for about 2 weeks or so and have found this to be very effective. I can’t vouch for the 48 hour strength…sorry, but I don’t go 48 hours without showering! I’m a little spoiled like that I suppose lol. But I can say that it does seem to keep me cool, comfortable, dry, and most importantly smelling fresh! The only thing I don’t like is the actual gel. I’m not a fan of gel deodorants (I tried them numerous times in the past) so I can’t say if I would eagerly choose this formula. That is solely a preference thing and not a reflection on it’s effectiveness.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to those that love gel formulas or those that need an effective and clear option for those times when white marks are NOT an option (little black dress, I’m looking at YOU!).
